Antonius Stradivarius Violin - C. 1940 #3080
This German Violin made circa 1940 was built in the style of a 1700s Stradivarius. It had been restored and reconditioned by the well-respected violin maker Raphael Storm. Raphael has repaired the ribs and re-carved the top to make this instrument sing. He also installed a new fingerboard, bridge, tailpiece, nut and pegs, and made and installed a new sound-post made from 100-year-old Spruce.
This violin will ship in a modern case for protection.
Raphael Storm apprenticed with renowned violin maker Carlos Arcieri. He has restored and repaired instruments of the highest quality including Italian Stradivari and Guarneri violins. Raphael also made one of Pete Seeger's touring banjos and a violin for Jason Carter of the Del McCoy band.
